Yes, LANAGRO-MG acts to perform in the implementation of
 the following actions:

 a) service to the task of supervision
(fiscal analysis) and monitoring of health programmes for the
defense in order to ensure the quality of the product for
Brazilian internal marketing, export and import operations

 b) implementation of policies, programmes and projects for
national products, and by-products derived from animal and
 vegetable defined by MAPA

 c) promotion of laboratory support seeking the safety, health and   competitiveness in production of poultry, cattle, pigs, grains,   fruits and others, contributing positively to the Brazilian trade   balance

 d) validation, development and availability of analytical methods   of reference for analysis of products, and by products derived   from animal and vegetable origin, and   organization and   implementation of programmes of interlaboratory comparisons   of accredited laboratories MAP

 f) production of reference materials used in proficiency tests in   interlaboratory control of the laboratories of the MAPA Network
