Mandate of the Institution:	AGROCALIDAD, is the government agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MAGAP) , which main role is to regulate and control agricultural health and food safety in the country.
Role in the farm-to-fork chain:	The Laboratory of Pollution of Agricultural Products, offers analysis of pesticide residues , to external customers in the agricultural sector of the country and for support internal activities of AGROCALIDAD, including programs for surveillance, prevention and control of food.
